Events & Beach Cleans
Many Beach Cleans have been organised for Padstow and Trevone, like this one which happened in January -
This morning, at 10am, in slightly damp conditions, Beach Guardian's Emily was joined by 45 volunteers; all really keen to help out at Trevone Beach, Cornwall...
This was more than twice the number of people than we normally get and there was half the amount of plastic on the beach than normal, so many hands ensured that both Rocky Beach (Newtrain Bay) and Sandy Beach (Porthmissen Beach) were left really clean! This shows that the community efforts are really paying off on our local beaches...
Lots of local people came along, as well as a family who had come all the way from Truro and some students from Plymouth University
